We ship to the contiguous United States with the exceptions of California and Kansas for dry goods orders. All fees include shipping, handling & processing. There may be additional shipping charges for oversize

Customers in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other areas outside the Continental United States should call customer service for shipping rates. If the order is placed online, it will not have the correct shipping charges applied in the cart. You will be contacted by customer service with the correct shipping total once we receive quotes.

There is no minimum order for U.S. or Canadian orders, however there is a $150 minimum order required for foreign orders.

Some items on the website, most noteably the dog and cat food, are only available for in-store pickup at our Lancaster, PA Retail Store or by using our local delivery service. If you live in Pennsylvania and/or Lancaster county, these options will present as shipping options during checkout.

We ship all of our merchandise directly from our warehouse in Lancaster, PA. Our warehouse staff packs and ships orders Monday through Friday (except holidays). Most orders leave the warehouse within 2-3 days of being placed.

Frozen food shipping is available October through May, weather & holidays permitting.

Frozen Food Orders must be placed and shipped separately from dry goods orders. There is a $30.00 minimum order and a shipping fee of $29.99 for each order (multi-box orders require additional shipping). Frozen Food orders are only shipped to the contiguous US states East of the Mississippi River via Fedex 2-Day Express. Frozen food orders must be placed by 12pm EST Tuesday to ship Wednesday. Orders are shipped with dry ice every Wednesday for Friday delivery from our Lancaster, PA location. Out of stock frozen food items will not be backordered.

Please call for a price quote. Signature may be required for delivery. In-stock air orders will ship same day if your order is completed by 2 pm Monday-Thursday and 1:30 pm on Friday EST.

If you select an express shipping option, please note that express packages are shipped and delivered Monday through Friday and will not be shipped or delivered over the weekend.

That Fish Place - That Pet Place is now offering discounted delivery next day to select zip codes in the Lancaster County area. Please see our Local Shipping Page for current zip codes as well as a guide on how to activate the feature at checkout. Orders must be placed Mon-Thurs to qualify for next day local delivery. Orders placed for local delivery Friday-Sunday will be delivered on the following Monday. Use ‘$4.99 - Local Delivery’ ship method in checkout on thatpetplace.com. Local delivery excludes all live animals and glass aquariums at this time.

In some cases products classified as oversized due to weight or measurement may require additional shipping fees. After entering your address, you may check your estimated shipping rate in the cart. These items/orders may be excluded from free shipping promotions. Additional shipping fees and transit time may be required for these items. Please call 1-888-842-8738 for a shipping quote. Thatpetplace.com will only permit you to ship to the United States or Canada. If you are interested in shipping internationally, please call us at 1-888-842-8738. International orders require a minimum purchase of $150 of in-stock dry goods. Payment methods are limited to American Express, money order or wire transfer in U.S. currency as payment, personal checks will not be accepted.

Many of the items on our site are only eligible for shipping using certain methods, and must be purchased separately. If this is the case, this will be noted on the item’s detail page.These items include:

- Dog and Cat Food are only available for in store pickup
- Frozen Fish Food Must be purchased separately
- Digital gift cards Must be purchased separately

Because our company exists as both a brick-and-mortar store and an ecommerce website, there are some items that we simply are unable to ship, but still want to show availability of for online retail customers. Those items are missing the ‘add to cart’ button on the website.
