Zeolite Ammonia Remover is a natural ammonia-removing mineral for use in freshwater aquariums. It works well in both newly set-up aquariums to help prevent new tank syndrome and in established aquariums to prevent sudden surges in ammonia. Comes in a 6 1/2 in. x 6 1/2 in. fully rechargeable pouch.

Rinse Zeolite pouch under tap water to remove any dust. Place pouch in path of water flow in aquarium filter. Recharge pouch every 5 days until safe levels are reached. Then, recharge every 2 weeks to maintain best performance. Replace every 2 months or sooner if aquarium is heavily stocked or if ammonia is detected. To recharge: dissolve 4 tbsp of API aquarium salt in 8 oz. of warm tap water. Soak pouch for 2 hours then rinse lightly in tap water.
