Clearchoice PF-1 External Gravity Pond Filter - 500 Gallon

The Tetra Pond Clear Choice PF-1 External Gravity pond Filter provides biological, mechanical and chemical filtration for Koi ponds up to 500 gallons and water gardens up to 1200 gallons. The PF-1 has a maximum flow rate of 500 gallons per hour. A Trickle-flow design and a venturi inlet to supply oxygen help to create a ideal environment for bacteria to flourish on the Bio Ring Media.

A Spray Bar system helps to distribute water evenly over media making for more effective biological filtration. Improved water clarity is maintained by coarse and fine mechanical mats that remove debris and an activated carbon pad that removes odors. The Tetra Pond Clear Choice PF-1 was created to run outside of the pond and this design makes it easy to install and maintain. The PF-1 Bio filter has standard 3/4", 1" and 1 1/4" fitting to adapt to many pumps or UV sterilizers.
