The Aqua-Mag is extremely energy efficient and is designed to run continuously. The pump consists of a power unit encased in water-proof epoxy which creates a magnetic field. This drives a powerful ceramic magnetic impeller, the only moving part. It does not contain seals or contaminating oils therefore, it is virtually maintenance free. Mag-drives are UL listed to USA and Canadian safety standards. Features 0.5 in. MPT Inlet and FPT Outlets. Hose barbs not included.

Mag Drive 500 Water pump

My last one was build in 1996 and still works. I bought a new one, but will use my old one as a spare. I have a 57 gal salt water tank with this pump.

VERY dependable pump! Have had one in constant use for 3 years without a hitch. Pretty easy to clean and service. Highly recommend this pump for longevity. Have had nothing but bad luck with pumps purchased from the box stores. (Shorting out inside the epoxy filled field coil.)
