Marineland's Magniflow Canister Filter provides complete and powerful 3 stage filtration for your fresh or saltwater aquarium! Designed for simplicity, it makes setting up for use and breaking down for maintenance easier than ever!

Magniflow canisters keep your water clean and clear with their dynamic Stack N' Flo Filter Tray design. The layered tray design makes set up and maintenance a breeze, while covering all three stages of filtration:

  • Mechanical Filtration: Filter Foam Pads and Water Polishing Pads help remove large waste and uneaten food, along with small particles, keeping your water cleaner and clearer than ever!
  • Chemical Filtration: Black Diamond Carbon quickly and effectively removes odors, discoloration and dissolved impurities
  • Biological Filtration: Bio-Filter Balls and Ceramic Rings provide surface area for ammonia and nitrite reducing natural bacteria

Setup and Maintenance is simple. Once assembled your canister starts up with a simple touch of the Quick Prime Button. When your canister needs cleaning, simply flip the Quick Release valve block and water is sealed in the inlet/outlet tubes. No more leaky messes!

The Marineland Magniflow 220 has a flowrate of 220 gallons per hour and is rated for aquariums up to 55 gallons.

Stay Away!!!!!!! Do Not Purchase!!!!!!!!!

I have a marineland c220 canister filter. Worst filter I have ever owned. It has tried to flood my living room three times now. This past weekend we had a power outage, and the filter created a siphon and dumped 20 gallons of water out onto my living room carpet while I was outside the home. If I would have been away (and I was supposed to be), it would have siphoned all the water out of my 75 gallon aquarium, killing all the fish. I tried calling Marineland for help, they told me that they recommend replacing the gasket around the motor hood every year (I guess it's hidden in the fine print somewhere). They offered absolutely NO assistance to me. The least they could have done was sent a new gasket. The filter is less than 2 years old. I'm taking it out, and throwing it away because what good is it if I can't rely on it? I have canister filters from 5 different manufacturers, and this marineland filter has been nothing but miserable since day one.

Awesome filter

I have two C220 on my 75 gallon for 8 years now and have had no problems whatsoever with them. I do recommend that when you clean the filter that you apply vegetable oil to the O-ring when you reassemble. I've had no problems with them leaking and have never replaced an O-ring.
