The Matala BIOSTEPS gravity filter is perfect for heavily stocked ponds! Packing 200 sq. ft. of surface area for the growth of beneficial biological bacteria, the filter provides super-sized biological filtration to help eliminate toxic ammonia and nitrite!

The BIOSTEPS filter design forces pond water through filter pads with increasing density, making sure to trap larger debris along the way. This superior mechanical filtration removes debris of all sizes from your pond, making it clearer and healthier for your fish and koi! One filter is sized for ponds up to 2700 gallons and each filter can be coupled with other BIOSTEPS filters to expand filtering capacity! Maximum flow rate is 1060 gph.

The simple design makes cleaning maintenance easy. Includes sloped bottom with sink outlet to make draining quick and easy and also includes built-in overflow safety.

Filter measures 23 3/16 in. x 15 in. x 20 3/16 in. and includes universal 1in/1.25in/1.5in inlet and 1.5 in. outlet.
