GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
Shipping fees are based on the merchandise dollar total of your order and the fee schedule listed here. Packages are shipped by "Best Service" unless otherwise specified during the ordering process. "Best Service" is determined by our computer system, which selects the most inexpensive ship method based on the products ordered and the shipment destination. There is no sales tax added to orders being shipped outside of Pennsylvania (PA residents will have 6% sales tax added to their order total).
Some items indicate that they do not fall into our regular shipping fee schedule and require additional shipping fees. These additional shipping charges will be calculated automatically, and will appear on your final order page. For delivery outside the contiguous 48 states please contact our Pet Professionals by calling, writing or e-mailing. We have various shipping methods available for timely and cost effective delivery to locations around the world.
Fedex Express Standard Overnight (contiguous U.S. only) & Fedex Express Two Day (contiguous U.S. only) and Fedex Express Saver Three Day (contiguous U.S. only) delivery is available. Call for a quote. In stock Fedex Express Air orders will ship same day when ordered by 3 p.m. EST Monday-Friday (does not apply to Live Fish Delivery shipments, click here for more details). Saturday and Sunday and the day the order ships do not count as shipping days. FedEx cannot ship to a P.O. Box, APO or FPO address (these addresses are served by USPS). Customers in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other areas outside the Continental United States should call or e-mail for the best shipping method.
Orders shipped using Standard Ground must be placed by December 11th to receive your order by Christmas.
Orders shipped using Express must be placed by December 19th to receive your order by Christmas (not guaranteed).

ADDITIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
Some products, due to weight or size, require additional shipping fees. These items are identified with an "Additional Shipping" link appearing in red, blue, green or purple on the product detail page. Refer to the map and chart link below to determine the additional shipping charge for your order. Use the map to determine which geographic zone your order will ship to. In the chart, follow the color indicated for your selected product to your zone column. That amount is your added shipping charge for that product in addition to the regular shipping costs.
Orders are shipped with dry ice on 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month(by FedEx 2-day).
Due to warmer weather, That Fish Place does not ship frozen food between July-September.
Frozen food shipping will begin again in October 2008.
FROZEN FOOD ORDERING
Frozen Food Orders must be placed separately from dry goods orders. Frozen Food orders are shipped to all 48 contiguous states. There is a $30.00 minimum order and all orders are charged a $24.99 flat shipping and handling fee. Orders are shipped with dry ice, on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month. Some restrictions apply. Out of stock items cannot be backordered. For faster delivery, use a commercial/business address.
FROZEN FOOD HOLIDAY SHIPPING:
Due to holiday shipping traffic and closures, we will be modifying our shipping schedule as follows:
Frozen food will be shipped on November 18th, December 2nd, and December 16th.
Normal frozen food shipping will resume Tuesday, January 13th.
