All the rare and exotic species you see on our website are also available to our in-store customers (excluding "Your Choice" items). If we are unable to contact you, or we have not gotten a response by 4:00 p.m. EST on the day of shipment, we will remove the unavailable items from your order and ship as scheduled. We do not backorder out-of-stock livestock.
In cases where a significant percentage of an order is unavailable at the scheduled shipment date, we will hold the order until we have contacted the customer. Live plants can not be shipped to P.O. Box addresses. We DO NOT ship livestock to Alaska, California, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
AQUARIUM PLANTS SHIPPING SCHEDULE
Shipments are sent Monday through Wednesday. (Thursday for overnight delivery)
Same day shipping on all orders placed by noon EST Monday through Wednesday.
Orders received Thursday through Sunday are scheduled to ship the following Monday.
POND PLANTS SHIPPING SCHEDULE
Pond Plants are only available from May 1st through September 30th
Shipments are sent directly from our Lancaster, PA store each Tuesday during the season, weather permitting
We receive fresh plants every Monday for Tuesdays shipment. We ship only fresh, bare root, ready to plant pond plants, and they are covered by our 5-day arrive alive guarantee.
Orders placed before noon on Friday will be shipped the following Tuesday. Orders placed after 12:00 PM Friday will not ship until the 2nd Tuesday. This is to ensure our customers receive the freshest plants available.
Please not that aquarium plants may be ordered in conjunction with pond plants. Combination orders will be shipped complete upon the arrival of the pond plants for the single $13.99 shipping fee.

Shipping will stop 2 days before a holiday and resume the next regular shipping day.

Due to holiday shipping traffic and closures, we will be modifying our Live Fish, Coral, Invertebrates, Live Rock and Live Plant shipping schedules as follows:
Thanksgiving - Last ship day is Monday November 24th. Orders must be placed by 12:00 noon EST on November 24th. Normal shipping schedules will resume Monday December 1st.
Christmas and New Years - Last day to ship is Monday December 22nd. Orders must be placed by 12:00 noon EST on December 22nd. Normal shipping schedules will resume Monday January 5th.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Some plants are seasonal and may be out of stock in the off seasons. (Octopus, Microsword, Rose Sword, Rad. Marb. Queen, Banana)
When ordering a large quantity of a single species (i.e. 25 or more of a single plant) extra time may be needed to process the order.
Severe or extreme weather may affect plant quality during shipping. That Fish Place may delay shipping of live plant orders if weather conditions threaten to compromise plant quality.

All livestock orders are shipped directly from our state-of-the-art Fish Room located in our Lancaster, Pennsylvania retail store. This livestock is also made available to our in-store customers and as a result, our inventory is constantly changing. While we make every effort to keep our website as up-to-date as possible, retail store sales and unforeseen circumstances may change actual availability of any item.
