Anubias barteri var. nana produces waxy, dark green leaves from a thick rhizome. It is a hardy foreground plant with an average height of about 6 inches. It may be tied to rock or driftwood to which its roots will eventually adhere. Anubias is a slow grower, but is able to thrive in a variety of conditions.
