The Dogface Puffers have great personalities and often learn to recognize their owners. This variant is particularly attractive, and can vary in the degree of spotting. They will eat any invertebrate kept in the tank and require snails as part of their diet to prevent their teeth from growing too long. Although known for their ability to “puff” up, this behavior is stressful for the fish and should not be promoted.
