| Eshopps overflow boxes are designed for user-friendly assembly and secluded operation. These overflow boxes allow for maximum performance using a fraction of the space other overflow boxes occupy. Claiming just 3” of space between the wall and the back of your tank, these handcrafted overflow boxes by Eshopps are perfect for those standard tanks in need of a wet/dry filter application. Eshopps overflow boxes are used in transporting water from the main aquarium to the wet/dry or “sump” filter. In combination with the hand-crafted in-tank skimmer box, with strategically small slits, (to prevent tank inhabitants from escaping) water is flowed out of the tank and through the “U” tube. Upon reaching the larger, outer overflow box, the water is pre-filtered by the cylindrical sponge, then drained into the sump through the included bulkhead fittings. As water is returned into the aquarium by the wet/dry filtration system below, the aquarium water level rises. As this water level rises, water flows into the Eshopps overflow box back into the wet/dry system. This creates a continuous cycle of water flow and filtration, keeping the water in the aquarium at a consistent level. Eshopps overflow boxes are ideal for the addition of a sump style filtration system and contribute to surface skimming, creating a cleaner, clearer, aquarium ecosystem. |
