My Account

Overview

When you register as a customer, an online account is automatically created for you.  After you create your account, the Account Information page opens when you log on, and the My Account function is available to you.  In My Account you view your personal registration and address information on the Account Information page.  On the page there are Edit links to transfer to the appropriate page where you can modify the address or billing information for your account.

To open the Account Information page:

  1. Click on My Account on the menu across the top of any page.  If you are logged on, the Account Information page opens displaying the information for your account.  If you are not logged on, the Logon page opens first so you can log on.

Modify Personal Information

To modify any of the personal information:

  1. Click on the Edit link in the Personal Information section of the page.  The Edit Personal Information page opens.

  2. Enter your changes to the information in the various fields.

  3. Type your password in the Re-enter Password field (whether or not you changed your password).

  4. Click on the Update button.  The system updates your account information.
    -or-
    Click on the Cancel button to ignore the changes.
    In either case, the page closes and you are returned to the Account Information page.

Add or Modify Billing Address Information

To Add the Billing Address

 

To add the billing address (one per account) for the account:

  1. Click on either the Add Billing Address link just under the Billing Address on the page.  The Add Billing Address page opens.

  2. Type in the Company Name, if appropriate (optional).

  3. Type in a name in the Attention field (optional).

  4. Select a Country from the drop-down list (required; must be one of those on the list).

  5. Type in your street address  in Address 1 (required) and Address 2 (if needed, optional).

  6. Type in your Postal Code (required) and tab to the next field.  The system fills in the City and State / Province automatically, based on the Country and the Postal Code.

  7. Type in your Phone number, including area code and extension, if any (optional, except your phone number is required for overnight shipments).

  8. Type in your Fax number, including area code (optional).

  9. Click on the This address is also the Shipping Address checkbox (which appears after you enter the Postal Code) to check it if your shipping address is the same as your billing address (optional).  If you check this item, then you do not have to enter a separate shipping address for your account.

  10. Click on the Submit Info button.  The system adds your billing address (and your shipping address if you checked the box) to your account.

To Modify the Billing Address

  1. Click on the Edit link just under the Billing Address on the page.  The Edit Billing Address page opens displaying the current billing address.

  2. Enter your changes to the information in the various fields.

  3. Click on the Update button.  The system updates your billing address information.

    Click on the Cancel button to ignore the changes.
    In either case, the page closes and you are returned to the Account Information page.

Add, Modify or Delete Shipping Address Information

Note: Only the Account Administrator can add, modify or delete company information.

 

To Add a Shipping Address

 

To add a shipping (ship-to) address (as many per account as you need) for the company or individual account:

  1. Click on either the Add New Shipping Address link just under the Shipping Address heading on the page.  The Add Shipping Address page opens.

  2. Type in the Company Name, if appropriate (optional).

  3. Type in a name in the Attention field (optional).

  4. Select a Country from the drop-down list (required; must be one of those on the list).

  5. Type in your street address  in Address 1 (required) and Address 2 (if needed, optional).

  6. Type in your Postal Code (required) and tab to the next field.  The system fills in the City and State / Province automatically, based on the Country and the Postal Code.

  7. Type in your Phone number, including area code and extension, if any (optional, except your phone number is required for overnight shipments).

  8. Type in your Fax number, including area code (optional).

  9. Click on the Submit Info button.  The system adds the shipping address to your account.

To modify a shipping address for the company or individual account:

  1. Click on the Edit link on the page just under the Shipping Address that you want to modify.  The Edit Shipping Address page opens displaying the current information for the selected shipping address.

  3. Click on the Update button.  The system updates the information for your selected shipping address.
    -or-
    Click on the Cancel button to ignore the changes.
    In either case, the page closes and you are returned to the Account Information page.

To Delete a Shipping Address

 

To delete a shipping address for the company or individual account:

  1. Click on the Delete link on the page just under the Shipping Address that you want to delete.  The selected shipping address is immediately deleted from the account and the Account Information page.

    Warning!: There is NO step where you confirm the delete.

Add or Modify Preferred Shipping Method

 

To Add Your Preferred Shipping Method

 

To indicate the preferred (default) shipping method you want us to use by default when sending your order:

 

  1. Click on the Add Default Shipping Method link on the Account Information page. The Add Shipping Method page opens.

  2. Click on the appropriate radio button to select the one preferred shipping method from the list displayed on the page.

  3. Click on the Submit Info button. The system adds your preferred shipping method to your account information.
    -or-
    Click on the Cancel button to ignore the changes. In either case, the page closes and you are returned to the Account Information page.

 

To Modify Your Preferred Shipping Method

 

  1. Click on the Edit link just under the Preferred Shipping Method on the Account Information page. The Edit Shipping Method page opens displaying the list of shipping methods with the current preferred shipping method selected.

  2. Click on the radio button of a different shipping to select it. The radio button for the previous method is automatically cleared.

  3. Click on the Update button. The system updates the preferred shipping method for your account.
    -or-
    Click on the Cancel button to ignore the changes. In either case, the page closes and you are returned to the Account Information page.

Add or Modify Payment Method

There are links on the Account Information page that open a page to add or to modify your payment options, usually a credit card (see note below regarding options for business accounts).  An account can have multiple payment options, one of which is the default for checkout purposes.  If you store your payment option information here, it is secure, and it streamlines the checkout process, because you do not have to reenter it for each order.  Entering this information here is optional, and you can enter it at checkout every time you place an order.

 

To Add a Payment Option

 

To add a payment option for the company or individual account:

  1. Click on the Add New Payment Method link on the page under the Payment Method heading.  The Add Payment Method page opens.

  2. Select the Card Type from the drop down list (MasterCard, Visa, etc.) (required).

  3. Select the month and the year of the Expiration Date (required).

  4. Type in the Credit Card ID (circled in red, required). 

  5. Click on the Set this payment method as my default checkbox to check it, if appropriate (you can select only one payment method at a time as the default).

  6. Click on the Submit Info button.  Your payment method is added to your account
    -or-
    Click on the Cancel button to ignore the changes.
    In either case, the page closes and you are returned to the Account Information page.

  2. Enter your changes to the information in the various fields.

    In either case, the page closes and you are returned to the Account Information page.
