Tubastrea sp. "Sun Polyp Coral" - Medium
Sun Corals get their name from the bright orange sphere form that is most commonly found, Sun Corals can also be black or white. These corals lack zooxanthellae, thus they require frequent feeding for nutrition. These corals open at night, and must be fed while their tentacles are expanded. Crushed brine shrimp, mysis shrimp or Cyclopeeze are possible food types that can be used. Place these corals out of direct light, low in the tank or under a ledge.
