Heliopora coerulea "Blue Ridge Coral" - Small
Despite its appearance, Blue Ridge Coral is not an sps coral, but a soft coral. These corals have a blue exoskeleton made up of calcium carbonate and iron salts. The branched coral may appear brown in color, particularly when the soft polyps are extended.
These corals are not aggressive and require only minimal feeding supplements. They need higher lighting and moderate flow, as well as plenty of trace elements for optimal health.
