Botia almorhae "Yo-Yo Loach"
The Yo-Yo Loach is a cream colored fish with black markings that look like a repeating pattern of alternating y's and o's. It is for this reason that the fish earned the name "yo-yo" loach. The tail and fins are transpearent with a few gray markings.
The Yo-Yo Loach is a peaceful fish that is well suited for most community aquariums. It is nocturnal, but will often come out during the day once it has become accustomed to the aquarium. This fish is not a fussy eater and will accept a wide variety of foods.
It can be kept alone or in groups, but prefers small schools of its own kind. This fish is relatively hardy if kept in an aquarium that is well maintained, and will live many years.
