Neolamprologus leleupi - Juvenile
Neolamprologus leleupi are very popular Tanganyikans. They have a bold yellow to orange color and a torpedo shaped body. It is fairly difficult to discern sexes as both males and females have the same coloration. Males are rather aggressive with other males, and care should be taken when choosing tank mates, usually other Tanganyikans of similar aggression. They prefer habitats with lots of cover for them to hide and build territory. Feed them cichlid flakes or small pellets and supplement with frozen or freeze-dried treats.
