Puntius sachsii "Gold Barb"
Gold Barbs have orange-gold bodies and reddish fins. They usually have dark irregular spots on the body, and a dark irregular bar at the base of the tail.
Gold barbs can be kept in most community aquariums of similar sized fish. They are a schooling fish, and should be kept in groups of at least six fish. There are a few color varieties of gold barb that have been developed, including albino. Feed a variety of foods such as flake, pellet, and frozen items.
