Centropyge flavicauda "Whitetail Pygmy Angel"
The Whitetail Pygmy Angel has a dark body and a translucent white tail. They stay small, even for a pygmy angel, and can be housed in tanks as small as 20 gallons.
If you attempt to place other pygmy angels in the same system, it is best to add not only a different species, but a species with little or no physical similarities to avoid confrontations.
The Whitetail Pygmy is generally peaceful toward other fish. They can be shy and require plenty of hiding places to feel comfortable. Whitetail Pygmy Angels are safe in reef aquariums. Pygmy Angels are omnivores that do best on a diet of frozen meaty foods with plenty of algae.
