Paracheilinus mccoskeri "McCosker's Fairy Wrasse" - Africa
McCosker's Fairy Wrasse is a small pinkish-red wrasse with blue lines and a high dorsal fin. Depending on the region the wrasse was collected from, some of these wrasses may have brilliant yellow coloration. They are notorious for cross-breeding with other fairy wrasses however, so their bright coloration is sometimes muted.
Like other fairy wrasses, the McCosker's Fairy Wrasse is safe and even ideal for reef aquariums. It does not harm invertebrates and benefits from the numerous hiding places caused by a well-stocked reef. Multiple small meals of nutrient-rich foods will help keep this wrasse healthy and its color vibrant.
