The LED Nano Cube features total LED lighting for metal-halide like output and the broad coverage of T5 lighting with uncomparable efficiency! LEDs can last up to 10x than these other popular systems. Included are 25 x 3 watt 14K daylight LEDs, 4 x 3 watt actinic (466nm) LEDs for dawn/dusk applications and 2 x 1 watt Nite-Vu (456nm) LEDs for night-time viewing. Spectral range in the 400-700nm is optimum for photosynthetic organisms. LEDs dramatically increase the PAR output, the output of useable light by photosynthetic organisms. An aluminum heat sink coupled with 4 cooling fans ensures cool operation. The fans turn on and off with the lighting system. Should things get too hot, a thermal protector automatically shuts the lights off and restarts automatically once temperatures reach safe conditions.
This tank features dual port wavemakers and 2 (266gph/16w each)pumps by Acella for increased water circulation, keeping corals happy. The built-in 3-stage filtration system is hidden from view and provides all the mechanical (sponge), chemical (activated carbon) and biological (ceramic rings) filtration you need for a healthy system.
The sleek, rounded corners of the Nano Cube allows for panoramic viewing. The modern style canopy flips back for easy access to feed and maintain the aquarium.
