Pond Care Ammo Lock 2 removes chlorine and chloramines from tap water and detoxifies ammonia continually produced in the pond by waste matter. Locks up ammonia, converting it into a form that not only is non-toxic to aquatic life, but serves as a source of nutrition for nitrifying bacteria in the biological filter. It eliminates ammonia stress and promotes healthy gill function of pond fish. Treats up to 1,920 gallons of water.
Directions For Use:
All PondCare products are formulated for best results when the directions on the package are followed, and to do so, knowing the volume of your pond is important.
Add 5 teaspoonfuls (25 ml) of Ammo-Lock for every 100 U.S. gallons (378L) of pond water.
Compatibility: The PondCare Liquid Ammonia Test Kit can be used to test ammonia in ponds and water gardens. The Liquid Ammonia test Kit is compatible with "ammonia removing" products.

Pond Care Ammo Lock 5/7/2013 Reviewer: Bruce Eastley I have to assume that this product does in fact compact the ammonia in the pond and neutralizes
it until it is eliminated by my regular pond back flushings. If I am on vacation longer than I feel comfortable, and my caretakers only do the feeding, I don't want the ammonia build-up to jeopardize my fish.
