Reef Crystals salt is enriched with an extra measure of the components that have been indicated as most important by reef aquarists including: extra calcium, extra trace elements, vitamins, and a metal detoxifier. Mix Instant Ocean with ordinary dechlorinated tap or purified water. To prepare small quantities, use 1/2 cup of mix per each U.S. gallon of water.
Approx. content analysis, with salt mixed to 35 ppt or a specific gravity of 1.026:
Calcium, 490 ppm
Alkalinity, 13 dKH
Magnesium, 1440 ppm.
