The Rena Air 300 was created with noise suppression chambers that were designed to absorb vibration from air movement. The unit has fitted rubber feet to also help stop vibration with the surface that it is seated on. These new features help to make the Rena Air 300 extremely quiet. The powerful unit was designed to maintain great airflow even at lower depths. The Air Flow Control on the Rena 300 allows the air flow level to be adjusted up and down.

Great pump 4/22/2013 Reviewer: Wayne My 300 has run quietly for over ten years. Airflow has dropped due to worn out diaphragm and valves. A rebuild kit for less than seven dollars is all it took to restore output.

The following statement is a joke - this thing hasn't stopped making noise since I plugged it in. The 12 yr. old pump I wanted to replace makes less noise than the Rena. I just don't have the time to return it or I would. I am veyr turned off by this product and would shop around much longer next time.
