The Coralife 24" Aqualight T5 Standard Fluorescent light fixture for saltwater aquariums, is a sleek and streamlined fixture designed to enhance and complement your marine aquarium. Its compact and slim-profile style is suitable for applications where space is limited. The fixture is equipped with a modern, designer-black aluminum housing and a highly-polished reflector for optimal lighting. It also includes a protective acrylic lens cover which allows easy access to the lamps.
Other features include: on/off switch and built-in ballast; adjustable width tank mounts; comes with one 14W 10,000k lamp and one 14W True Actinic 03; ideal for saltwater and reef aquariums.
The 10,000K lamp is a purified super-daylight lamp with high-intensity lumen-per-watt output that simulates the midday tropical sun. It contains rare-earth, color-enhancing phosphors that emit sparkling, blue-white light rays.
The Actinic 03 lamp provides a blue light in the 420 nanometer range that stimulates many pigments in organisms such as corals, fish and invertebrates, causing them to fluoresce in beautiful glowing colors.

These replacement lights are a great replacement for my 125 gallon tank. I put them over acrylic and my tank looks great.

Sometimes its easier having multiple fixtures, this one is slim, I wanted to run Actinic 03 two bulbs for twelve hours, and 10K and Actinic 03 for eight. This light is not HO, theres is no way I needed more than 14 watts of white light for live rock in a 30 gallon 1/2 circle, with a 20 inch dual T5 (40 watts) I have 54 Actinic 03 and 14 watts Actinic 03. I read white and red light spectrum causes nusaince algae wven when nitrate and phosphate can not be detected.

We service several salt water aquariums for schools in our area. These lights are inexpensive and the tanks look great.
