Tetra LED Aquarium Hood - Black - 30x 12in

I purchased this hood with LED light strip as part of a 29 gallon aquarium kit by Tetra. My experience with the LED light was that water infiltrated the light module causing it to short out, heat up, melt, and nearly catch fire. i would avoid any tetra led product as this LED light is absolutely not compatible with exposure to moisture as water penetrates into all the modules causing them to fail in less than a year. When customer service was contacted, I was advised that no replacement was available for sale, but only for warrantee if less than a year old. However, I no longer had my proof of purchase. So save yourself some time and money and don't buy tetra lights anywhere.
