Dash-Dot Goatfish - Parupeneus barberinus
Details
The Dash-Dot Goatfish (Parupeneus barberinus) has a white body with a black diagonal stripe from the mouth through the eyes to the rear of the dorsal fin and a small black spot at the base of the tail. The area above the black stripe is more golden in color.
Goatfish are generally peaceful fish that will get along well with all community fish. They need to be provided with large open areas in the tank so that they can forage through the substrate looking for food; they will generally accept most frozen meaty foods.
