This coral shows traits of at least two of the Euphyllia Corals: Torch Coral (E. glabrescens), Frogspawn Coral (E. divisa), Wall Hammer Coral (E. ancora), Branching Hammer Coral (E. parancora), and Thick-branched Frogspawn Coral (E. yaeyamaensis). Care and requirements are virtually the same for all species but the shape of the tips may vary between the single tip of Torch Corals, the horseshoe tips of Hammer Corals, and the grape-like cluster of Frogspawn Corals. 

These corals are aggressive in that the tentacles can extend several inches and carry a powerful sting. Do not allow these corals to come in contact with other corals, as they can easily kill weaker stinging specimens. Euphyllia Corals should be oriented so that the tissue of the coral is facing the light, provide medium to strong lighting, and random water movement. Some form of invertebrate food is recommended to be added once or twice a week.
