Pondmaster Clearguard Pressurized Pond Filters provide 7 different functions to keep your pond running smoothly and efficiently, in order to give you crystal clear water and a healthy habitat for pond fish and plants. The versatile filter allows you to run the unit in filter, backwash, rinse, winterize, empty, circulate and close modes so that it can handle any operation you desire throughout the year.

The Clearguard filter utilizes mechanical and biological filter media along with an internal ultraviolet sterilizer to keep your water clean and crystal clear, giving you an uninterupted view of your pond inhabitants and a healthy environment in which they can flourish. The filter includes a reusable filter pad to help remove fine debris, uneaten food and waste. Biological filter media is added to provide surface area for the growth of beneficial bacteria, which helps quickly break down toxic ammonia and nitrite. The internal UV sterilizer keeps your water clear by eliminating green water algae and also eradicates fish parasites and harmful bacteria.

The Clearguard 2.7 model is good for ponds up to 2,700 gallons and rated for a maximum of 3,000 gph and 15 psi. Comes with Slip and Barb 1.5 in. inlet and outlet fittings. Includes internal 9 watt UV sterilizer.
