Knight Gobies are pale gray in appearance with small black dots in the body and fins. The pectoral, anal and caudal fins have a white line that runs parallel to the body, and the fins may have a slight iridescence. The most striking feature of this goby may be the black dot that adorns the elongated front dorsal fin of the fish.
Knight Gobies need places to hide like rock caves, drift wood, or plants to make them feel secure. They are territorial and will defend an area against any fish, especially others of their own species. As they mature these fish have been known to catch and devour small fish in an aquarium. Keep this in mind when finding tankmates for this fish.
A combination of both flake and pellet food will provide the necessary vitamins and minerals to keep the fish looking vibrant and healthy.
