Its cheap, and made in china. You can expect that it probably won't last forever at that point. But if you're looking for something that'll perform well for a few years and don't want to break your bank-- this'll do it. The manufacturer clearly labels the BTU rating, which is the most important rating on a chiller. Coralife you can't even find on their website, which means it probably sucks. The AquaEuro chillers BTU rating show that its energy efficient, mine has been quiet, and it didn't break the bank to get it hooked up. Just make sure you buy one larger than what your tank size is unless you want it to run all the time.

We are running a science enrichment program involving 15-20 schools raising trout fry in cold-water aquariums. This chiller is a significant improvement over prior versions of the Current USA Prime Tower chillers- better design at connection points, quieter casing, reasonably easy to clean. We'll see how the components last, but after two years, these systems seem like a good value.
