Works Great on my 225 Gallon Reef Tank

by

I have a Max 1/2 HP Chiller on my 225 gallon reef tank and it has been a life saver! My tank was running hot until I installed this chiller and now my corals are happy again. Super effective and a good buy!

.5 HP?

by

I own two Aqua Euro chillers. I have owned a .25 HP Aqua Euro that I use to keep a 100 gallon tank at 50 degrees. I purchased this chiller since it was double the power and the most it gets the tank down to is 48 degrees.... I have tried adjusting flow to achieve cooler temps, but im afraid the extra money compared to the .25 HP model got my 2 degrees of cooling power. Not happy at all!

Well Built and Quiet Running

by

I added this Aqua Euro 1/2 HP Max chiller to my 150 gallon aquarium and it performed better than I expected. It's well built and easy to use. Fairly quiet running in comparison to othe chillers that I have used before. Easy to set up and get going. Just plumb with 3/4" tubing and the right size pump (I use a 656 GPH Apex pump) and you are all set.
