Not only for rodents, hermit crabs too!

We picked up two of these for our hermit crabs. We modified the walking area with craft mesh and zip ties to give them a wider and easier gripping surface. We get two or three crabs in it at a time. Some just hang on and go over the top like an amusement park ride! Some spend hours at a time walking in it! If you have a proper tank set up for crabs definitely invest in one!
