I purchased this for my 2 yr old German shepherd on the way to boarding and given the size of the chew, I did not stop to consider whether this was appropriate for my dog. I've owned many Nylabone chews over the years having owned GSD's for 25 years. My dog easily went through this chew eventually taking off chunks. I had discarded the packaging, but the web description does say this is not recommended for strong chewers. Probably suitable for small dogs but be mindful, not for larger animals.
