Poor quality

I bought this stand for a 75 gallon freshwater aquarium. This stand is comparable to a particle board tv stand you can get at Walmart. There is no actual wood used to support this stand and I would imagine the smallest bump or nudge would send my aquarium to the floor. The product is very flimsy and is not secured in place very well. Using this stand for any aquarium is questionable at best unless housing a reptile or small animal. I would not trust this product to hold an almost 850 pound aquarium. It is also built around looks and would have required modification and parts left off to run a canister filter underneath the stand resulting in further structural problems. This should not be listed as an aquarium stand and I would encourage you to look for another option when buying an aquarium stand.

Not a bad stand. Looks very nice. Like all new stands they arnt solid wood anymore but this one is very sturdy and looks good!
