The ETH external In-Line heater uses the advanced PTC system, which is a special polymer sheet, silk-screened with heating ink (like your car's windshield defroster) instead of metal coils. This state-of-the-art system allows the unit to be left running without water for a short time with no damage. For indoor, in-line use only, the ETH external heater has an adjustable heating control, and a hanging hook for easy placement outside your aquarium. Requires tubing.

great heater!

this heater kept my 60 gallon tank at a steady temperature for over 5 years! I have never had a heater last that long before! It also has the great benefit of not burning your plecos, who love to cuddle up to in-tank heaters. Buying my second one now!

Awesome heater

Very easy to install it brought my 75 gallon from 75 to 82 and back down to 77 with great accuracy and maintains the temperature works great with my magnum 350

Reliable Great Heater

Bought this for my 55gal planted with platies and cories. Wow does it work great and keeps the temp super stable. Hooked in super fast and easy to my Sunsun filter. Highly recommend.

My tank looks awesome nothing inside n the precision on this heater is crazy specialy in the winter out here in New York no need to worse about it any more . I have to of this bad boys in my 120 gallon

Great Product

Couldn't be more pleased. Make sure it's installed vertically has stated on various web post and you should have no issues. Mine has been running for about 6 weeks and holds temperature very well. Also not seeing the old heater hanging on the back really looks more natural.
