Works great, but a little big for standard opening

It works well, but my 55 gallon hood standard cut out opening doesn't really give enough room for the device to rotate effectively.
So I had to turn it 90 degrees to the long dimension on the opening and put it on top of the lamp assembly.
So the food has to drop into the water from about 4 inches and invariably some hits the top of the hood opening and bounces out.

Perfect

This things works like a charm. 4 daily feedings, but only use 2. Quiet. Hassle free. The best investment to keep my tank alive and fed while I am gone.

Solid feeder but some design quirks

Agree with el Cid. Very solid though. Still works after dropped several times and taped together. Need large flat area on hood to place device and hole big enough to drop into tank. Hard to get food exactly where you want it.
