The base has grooved chunks taken out, perfect for foraging opportunities, as well as to get a good grip around when your bird destroys the toy base. This product includes natural and plastic parts of all sizes as well as crinkle paper. The eye hook that is screwed into the wood base is nickel-plated. The hardware is a nickel-plated carabiner. The cordage is a paper rope 1.5ft long. This toy is about 1.5 pounds and is 14 in length, 17 in in height, and 8 in wide.
