Lithophyllon sp. corals are sometimes referred to as "Encrusting Fungia" due to their resemblance to the Short-tentacled Plate Corals from Fungia sp.. Lithophyllon usually grows encrusting on a surface however instead of in individual disks.
This is a fairly uncommon coral and is not available often. They generally need moderate to high lighting and flow but can vary depending on the colony, its shape and color, and where it was collected from. They are non-aggressive and relatively hardy.
