Adheres to most smooth, clean, non-textured surfaces. Wipe the surface down with white vinegar or rubbing alcohol and allow to air dry thoroughly. Water method: Rinse the suction cups under warm, almost hot, water. Shake off excess water, then press onto the desired surface. Oil based method: Apply a very thin layer of cooking oil or petroleum jelly to the suction cups. Mounting: Press each of them firmly in place, making sure there are no air bubbles between the cups and the mounting surface. Ensure each suction cup is placed over the tile and not the gap between the tiles, as this will prevent them from maintaining suction. Allow the suction cups to set for several hours before adding any weight.
