5 Reviews

Do away with old fluorescent fixtures and upgrade to long-lasting, energy-efficient LED lighting on your aquarium. Marineland's modern, low profile LED aquarium hoods use integrated LED light for bright, shimmering illumination. White and blue LED's provide balanced color to enhance the colors of fish in the aquarium. Easy to operate 3-way switch allows for all-on daylight, all off, or blue only LEDs as nighttime lighting. LED Aquarium Hoods are easy to setup, easy to operate, and easy to maintain. Removable, hinged feeding door makes maintenance a breeze. The snap in LED strip is protected by a clear lens that is removable for easy cleaning. One-year performance warranty.

Nice design.

Love it! The first chance I get (need enough stuff for free shipping) I'm going to get one for our 55 gal.

Love It!!!

I couldn't ask for a better hood for my aquarium. I had to wait for it because it was backordered but it was well worth the wait!!!!

Awesome! Love it!

Very well designed and functional. Love the blue LEDs.

very helpful

i find that for the money, this fills the need I had. I plan to upgrade, but this is a great starter.. nice looking. Bright.

Will this solve all my lifes problems?

This is a question not a review. HELP - I don't get it. How does this work? How do I remove the SeaClear 30x12x18 Acrylic hood that I've heard is glued on and then stick on something like this for my soon to be plant heavy 29 gal aquarium that needs those LED's. I'm buying the only larger acrylic aquarium you can buy right now (and most expensive) and they put a cheap light in it - unbelievable! I totally don't know what I'm doing. I only had a fishbowl as a child and had to watch mama guppy eat all her babies - never got over it until now and want to try again and have the best.
