A much improved filter.

I really should have looked at the specs better, especially the size. It's nearly an inch and a half wider than the older 100, and while it does just barely fit on the 10 gallon tank, it is a bit imposing. I had to eliminate the extension tube entirely and set the adjustable flow rate to around half way to not blow the fish out of the tank. After a few days the bio wheel saturated enough to stop spinning at light speed and the noise level dropped to almost silent, easily the biggest upgrade I've seen in this generation. The ability to add quite a bit of additional media through the basket under the intake tube, as well as having a ton of space in front of the main filter cartridge for a fairly large bag of additional media also makes for a much improved filter. I just don't recommended it on any tank smaller than 20 gallons due to it's larger size.
