Microbe-Lift Sludge Away - 1 gallon

This liquid speeds the biological removal of slow to degrade organic waste matter from aquatic pond bottoms that may become toxic to fish and plant life. As organic solids accumulate on the pond bottom they begin to break down, releasing toxic gasses to the surrounding environment. These gaseous by-products endanger fish, marine life and plants.

This product removes bottom organic sludge and muck, reducing or eliminating the potential harmful gaseous compounds and helps to clarify your pond water at the same time. It contains natural cellular matter, select biological accelerators and special microbes proven effective in pond sludge reduction.

Other features include: reduces and binds phosphate, disperses quickly, 100% active ingredients, will not discolor water, safe for fish, plants, pets and the environment.

**Note: this item will accelerate the solubilization and biological digestion of organic solids in your pond. In the process, the oxygen uptake rate will increase as a result of this increased activity. It is very important that your pond is able to support this increased oxygen demand along with your aquatic life's need for oxygen.

Use an oxygen test kit to test the water. To be adequately oxygenated it should be >4.0mg/L dissolved oxygen in your pond.

Use 1 oz. per 100 gals. of pond water every week until sludge is eliminated. Maintenance: Treat with MICROBE-LIFT/Sludge-Away monthly or as necessary thereafter.
