Repti-Sand Natural Red is an all natural substrate for desert dwelling reptiles. It is made from pure, very fine Quartz desert sand. It contains natural colors and no added dyes or chemicals. Repti-Sand is ideal for bearded dragons, leopard geckos, tarantulas, uromastyx lizards, soft-shell turtles, scorpions, sandfish lizards, collard lizards, plated lizards, sand boas, desert iguanas, burrowing frogs, and desert or semi-terrestrial skinks. Repti-Sand stimulates natural digging and burrowing behavior, as well as egg-laying.

Contains a natural fine quartz substrate.

Instructions: Pour contents of bag into bottom of terrarium. Sand should be at least 1.5-2 inches in depth. Add more for burrowing species. Clean out debris as needed and replace if a foul or musty odor persists or at least every 6-12 months.
