The Bag Welded Filter Bag - 180 Micron

Well made bag with mesh small enough to keep Purigen or other media contained. 4 stars out of 5 due to the fact that a zip tie is included to close the bag, however a ziplock closure would be much better.

the bag is awesome but the zip tie breaks after couple months, maybe 4 tops. i have over 10 of these bags . bags last , ties dont, so plan on getting extra ties. its easy enough

The bag does a good job of keeping most of the minute purigen particles from washing out. The closure however is poor..this bag should have a ziplock bag so the open end doesn't get pinched, which does not allow the bag to lie flat in my Aqua Clear 300. It is also way too large for this filter..it also has a tendency to float and must be weighted down in the filter box.
