Before use: Try on for size. Wash diaper for optimum performance. The more you wash it, the softer and more absorbent it becomes. Simple Solution Diapers are easy to wash and dry. These have been a life saver (or carpet saver) for me. I have 2 dogs, one a senior and a 5 year old I recued that is not house trained. My older dog used to go on the peepads but since I got this dog, he wants to go elseware. You do need more than one of these as they have to air dry and not the dryer. I let my dogs out frequenly so they don't get them wet but if I leave the house and come back they are always wet. I do recomment them though but as I said, have more than one, probably at least 3. Their price here is much better tha PetSmart which charges $20.00.
