WHEN TO USE

Alternative to the collar
The Recovery Sleeve(R) is a professional alternative to the collar. The Recovery Sleeve(R) covers and protects the front leg against licking, biting and/or scratching instead of covering the dog's entire head. By restricting the pet's head with a collar, sounds are amplified, movement is restricted, and pets will bump into furniture. This often results in more stress. That is why Suitical developed an animal-friendly alternative: the Recovery Sleeve(R).

Can help to reduce stress
The Recovery Sleeve(R) contains an adjustable closure and soft stretch band. The closure and band offer a comfortable pressure around the chest. This pressure has a calming effect on most dogs. This can be useful in many situations, for example after a medical procedure, in case of anxiety or stress.

In case of Overgrooming
Licking behavior can be caused by several factors, like hot spots, wounds, allergies or skin conditions. Due to excessive licking, the wound or affected area could become larger and even infected. If this area is situated on the dog's torso, the Recovery Suit(R) could be used to cover and protect this area. If the dog licks his front leg excessively, the Recovery Sleeve(R) offers the right protection.

Protects bandages and ointments
The Recovery Sleeve(R) is a front leg sleeve. Thanks to its symmetrical design, the Sleeve(R) can be used for your dog's left or right front leg. This sleeve covers ointments, but could also be used to protect bandages for example. Thanks to the Recovery Sleeve(R) the dog cannot bite, scratch or lick the ointment/bandage, but he can still move freely.

When having hot spots or skin conditions
The Recovery Sleeve(R) covers and protects hot spots, wounds and other skin conditions on the animal's front leg. In this way, the problem area can heal in complete freedom. If the problem area is on the dog's torso, the Recovery Suit(R) could be used.

After a medical procedure
Did your pet undergo a medical procedure near the front leg? The Recovery Sleeve(R) protects wounds and/or sutures on the front leg. Thanks to the comfortable fit, the animal can recover in complete freedom. Less stress for a faster recovery!

HOW TO PUT THE SUIT ON?

Suitical knows how important it is to be able to quickly dress and undress your dog, which is why their Recovery Sleeve(R) is made of soft and stretchy high-quality material. The Recovery Sleeve(R) has a snug fit to prevent your dog from wiggling out. It is important however to keep monitoring your dog if the snug fit isn't too tight. Getting the Recovery Sleeve(R) on and off your dog is simple, so let's take a look!

Step 1: Insert the ‘injured' leg through the sleeve. Insert the other leg through the opening on the opposite side;

Step 2: Secure the flaps around the chest by using the snaps/poppers and Velcro(R);

Step 3: Take a good look around the legs and chest to see if there is enough room to move and breathe!
