Otocinclus should be kept in small groups, but be sure to keep no more than 2 per each 5 gallons, or they will run out of food. Some driftwood should also be provided as they will graze it for algae. Because of their small size care should be taken to avoid any predators that would make them a quick meal. They are peaceful and make one of the best housekeepers in a freshwater tank.
