Details
Psammacora corals are becoming more popular in the reef hobby due in large part to advances in home propagation and "fragging". These colonies develop into thick, branching formations similar to some Porites corals. Their coloration can vary. Green is the most common, but other rarer colors like orange and lavender are also occasionally available. This coral needs high light to thrive. They can tolerate low to moderate water movement and are fairly hardy and easy to care for under the proper conditions.
