Details
The Asian Bumblebee Catfish (Pseudomystus siamensis) is a scaleless catfish that is black with a number of wide irregular tan/gold bands throughout the body. These markings vary from one fish to another.
The Bumblebee Catfish is a nocturnal predator, remaining hidden throughout the day and coming out after dark to hunt. Be sure to offer hiding places such as rocks and branches. In the wild, it feeds on small crustaceans, worms, insect larvae, and small fish. In the aquarium, it will feed on whatever is offered. It is generally peaceful as long as it is kept with fish that are too large for it to eat.
