Details
Arrow crabs have long, spider-like legs and a triangular body. They are active and interesting members of a reef community. Often they will roam the aquarium in search of meaty tidbits to consume.
Arrow crabs have also been known to search out and consume small bristle worms. They can be extremely helpful in controlling these populations.
Arrow crabs are territorial over selected areas in an aquarium and will fight with each other, often to the death of one of them. For this reason, they should be housed alone. In tanks 75 gallons or larger, two may be housed together with caution.
